I am NOT “just a nurse!”

Yes, I am a nurse, but I am not “just a nurse.” Nursing is one of the largest occupations out there. I went into nursing right away out of high school. I actually took my CNA course while in high school (Certified Nursing Assistant). First I was a nurses aide, then I became a LPN, and now I am an RN. I have worked at 2 nursing homes, a hospital, a homecare and hospice agency, and now a clinic. I have worked rotating shifts, holidays, days, nights, evenings, 8 hours shifts, 12 hour shifts, and I have worked for 16 hours too when pulling a double. I’ve been on call all hours of the night.

The topic of nursing is something I have never really talked about much on my blog before, but I feel like I need to stand up for this amazing occupation after the Miss America pageant.

What am I talking about?

Miss Colorado Kelley Johnson who is a RN came on stage during the talent section during Miss America and gave a monologue that she wrote about the nursing career and the idea of being “just a nurse.” She wore scrubs, tennis shoes, and had a stethoscope around her neck.

Here is her monologue below.

So I’ll be honest I never have liked the talk show The View-never have and now I definitely never will. I feel like it is just a show about a bunch of ladies who constantly talk over each other-I just was never impressed with the show. I saw the video of their viewpoint of Miss Colorado’s performance yesterday on Facebook. The video made me mad!

Here is the link to hear what they said on The View.

My thoughts are below! …..

Dear The View ladies,

Being a nurse myself, these comments are very degrading towards the nursing profession. Your comments just show complete ignorance.

  1. “She came out in a nurse’s uniform and basically read her emails out loud and shockingly did not win I was like that is not a real talent. I swear to God it was hilarious.”
  2. “Why does she have a doctor’s stethoscope around her neck?”
  3. “She helps patient’s with Alzheimer’s which I know is not funny, but I swear it you have to see it.”

First of all, it is not a doctor’s stethoscope. It is just a stethoscope. A stethoscope is a device used to auscultate or listen to the heart, the lungs, and the bowel sounds. A nurse cannot do a complete assessment without one. It can also be used to measure a blood pressure (a very important vital sign) along with a blood pressure cuff (I thought about using the proper term for this, but that would be way over your head). There are other professions that use stethoscopes as well such as a respiratory therapist. A nurses aide uses it too! OMG really how? They can take blood pressures too!

Apparently, you at the View have never been hospitalized or needed any help from a nurse, nurses aide, or a respiratory therapist. Doctors trust their nurses to make accurate assessments of their patients and update them as needed. In the hospital setting the doctor comes in usually once a day and the rest is up to the nurse. It is usually the nurse that tells the doctor about the crackles that just started in the patient. Guess how she or he heard those crackles-by using a stethoscope. Woah-who knew? Right?  That is just one of the many assessments that a nurse could make with a stethoscope.

Second of all, no it is not “hilarious.” You’re very naive and ignorant for thinking that her monologue is funny. I’m sure Joe or his family weren’t laughing when he got the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease. For you to say that Kelley “basically read her emails out loud and shockingly did not win” was a horrible and degrading thing to say. What kind of emails do you think hospitals, clinics, or any other medical setting send around?!? Are you really that ignorant? No she did not take that from an email she took that from her heart. See she took care of Joe and got to know him as a person. She will always remember Joe.

I worked at a nursing home for awhile and it was always hard when one of the residents passed away. I will always remember the first death I experienced while being a nurses aide at the nursing home. I remember exactly which room she was in. I remember the first time I had to do CPR. I remember everything about it. I remember being a Hospice nurse and being with families during one of the hardest times of their lives. I remember being a student nurse and watching a baby being born into this world and watching how happy the parents were-it was such an emotional experience I shed some tears of joy with the parents. We remember these people because we have hearts, not a work email account.

Imagine finding out you have Alzheimer’s Disease and you’re going to at one time forget who you are or who your family is. No it is not funny! I have a lot of good memories with Alzheimer’s patients. It is a dream of mine to open an Alzheimer’s care center.

Nurses are one of the largest populations of workforce out there and for you to degrade her speech with those comments is just disrespectful among the whole nursing population. I hope that you or your family are never sick. It might be a wake up call to what nurses really do!

Honestly, everybody in the workforce is important. Yes, the hospital would not run without nurses. But, it wouldn’t run without nutrition services, housekeeping, etc either. Every job is important and it is so rude for you to downgrade us nurses!

Yes, it was a lot different than the normal singing, dancing, and baton twirling talents that people normally do. It does take a special person to be a nurse. Not anybody could do it! It takes a special talent to place an IV in a dehydrated little baby with hardly any veins. It takes talent to calm a combative patient down. It takes talent to be a nurse to children.

With all this being said-I will continue to not watch The View! Due to your ignorance you sadly lost a lot of viewers. #boycotttheview #nursesrock #nursessticktogether #nursing

I am not just a nurse. I am more than that! I am a healer, a listener, and a patient advocate. Good Job Kelley! You have my vote!

Sincerely,

Brittany RN

The Best of Beauty 2014: Part 2 Eye-shadows, Eyeliners, and Mascara!

Yes, I know I am terribly late on this one. Work has been so busy that I just have a hard time finding time to blog and before I knew it, it was the middle of February. I still wanted to post this because well I share a lot of amazing products that are still available. This post will be part 2 and will include my favorite eye-shadows, eyeliners, and mascara. I will post the last part (Part 3) Tuesday. Don’t forget to check out Part 1 which is Face products. You can find that post here.  Well since February is almost half over….let’s get this party started.

EYESHADOWS

If you know me well, then you know that my favorite make-up item is eye-shadow. I’ll be the first to admit that I have a lot of palettes. During the year 2014, I got to try out a lot of new palettes, shadows, and even try new brands.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar
image

image

Love this palette! The colors and finishes in it are gorgeous! …and it smells like chocolate! 🙂 Something that I like about this palette is the array of shades can be used for an every day look or a night out look. Also, there are some shades in here that I like to use as liner. I tend to shy away from black eyeliner because I think it looks too harsh on me and one day I applied the fourth shade in from the top row (Black Forest Truffle) over it and loved the look. I also love how these shadows are pigmented and blend-able. Recently they came out with the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate bar palette and yes of course I had to pick that one up because I love this one so much. At least with the new one, they imprinted the names on the actual palette! I hate those loose sleeves with the names on it!

Sigma Beauty Eye Shadow Palettes
image

image

I really love Sigma Beauty’s products. Not only do I like their brushes, but they also have some pretty amazing makeup too! Whenever I go to Mall of America I like to treat myself to something from Sigma Beauty! During the year 2014 they came out with 4 palettes with the same packaging and naughty me…got all 4. The first one I got was called Warm Neutrals. This is probably my favorite out of all 4 of them. It has a lot of neutral shadows with some pinky-rosey hues. If you’re curious about this palette you can check out my review here. The second palette I got is called Smoke Screen which has the  most amazing blue shade called Nebula. Basically this palette is a palette that takes the smokey eye and makes it a little more unique. You can find that review here. The third palette is called Brilliant & Spellbinding. This one has a lot of unique shades as well such as a gorgeous yellow called Spellbinding. I also really like the coral shade called Bloom. I feel like this palette is the perfect Spring palette. The last one is called Fall Softly and it includes a bunch of softer shadows. I haven’t gotten much use out of this one yet, but I do know that I love the shade Silver Tongued because of its iridescence, With that being said, I feel like the quality of the Sigma shadows formula has improved quite a bit since the palettes before these. The formula is pigmented, smooth, soft, and blend-able.

Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows

image

image

One day at Sephora I decided to go over to the Make Up For Ever counter and swatch some of their new shadows and I fell in love. They’re so pigmented! I’ve heard that it is because they’re 88% pigment, which is a lot compared to other brands. They’re are also easy to work with meaning very blend-able. Something that I am not a fan of is that they have a numbering system that it printed on the packaging and the actual pan itself, but not name. But, you can go online and apparently find the actual name of the shadow. These shadows come in 5 finishes: satin, iridescent, diamond, matte, and metallic. I plan to do a more in-depth review on these shadows hopefully soon.

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow

image

This brand became the craze the year of 2014 and I can tell you why. These shadows are 5 dollars and they have amazing quality. These shadows are for someone that isn’t afraid of some shimmer or some color. Although, they did recently come out with a matte collection that looks more wearable. The texture of these shadows are quite amazing, but hard to describe. They’re so buttery soft. They almost have a wet feeling, but they aren’t wet. See, I told you it was hard to describe! I usually just use my fingers to apply these shadows just because it is so much easier than using a brush with the texture. Besides shadows, they also have lip sticks and lip liners. I also heard that they’re coming out with blushes, so that will be interesting.

EYELINERS

image

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On-Eye Pencil

I really love my Urban Decay eyeliners because of how easy they apply. The formula is super smooth and very pigmented! My favorite shades are Uzi and Smog. I have tried other eyeliners, but nothing compares to these in my opinion. They also last a very long time on the eyes which is always a good thing!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Even though I’m not a big fan of black eyeliner on me, I still decided to try this out. The tip applicator is so easy to use compared to other liquid eyeliners. I like to apply that shadow from the Too Faced Chocolate bar that I talked about above over this to tone it down a little.

MASCARA

Glo-Miinerals Water Resistant Mascara

image

image

I have a love-hate relationship with mascaras. Most of them I tend to not like. I do not understand the hype of the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara at all. Lately this Glo-Minerals mascara is the only mascara that I have been using and I don’t see myself switching anytime soon. I love that this mascara is more natural. It doesn’t contain tars and other icky ingredients in it that most mascaras have in them (especially those drug-store ones). I also love the brush! I can use the brush vertical or horizontal to coat the lashes and guess what no clumps! Also, this mascara has the perfect wetness to it.  I hate those really wet formulas and also I am not a fan of those super dry formulas as well.

That concludes Part 2 of The Best of Beauty! Hope you enjoyed it even though it is extremely late! But, better late than never! Comment and let me know if you have tried any of these products!

The Best of Beauty 2014: Part 1 Face Products

I figured that this blog post would be a perfect way for me to get back into blogging. I may have been MIA from WordPress for awhile, but my love for makeup and skincare did not disappear during those months. Sephora and Ulta continued to be dangerous for the beauty lover in me. I decided to include mostly makeup products, a few skincare products, nail polishes, and some fragrances as well. I also decided to break this up in 2 parts. That way there is not just one massively long post. Now sit back and grab the popcorn!

MAKEUP

1) Foundation

imageGoing through my 2014 beauty favorites for face products you might see that I really like the brand Tarte. My favorite foundation for this year is the Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation. They are considered to be more natural, so I feel more comfortable putting it all over my face. Tarte is know for being formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, and gluten. They’re also cruelty free! My skin is dry to normal with just some redness. With that being said, I don’t need a full coverage. I like a medium coverage foundation. I feel like this gives that to me, but if I wanted to I could build it up to a full coverage. I always try liquid foundations out of curiosity, but I end up always going back to this one. I love the brush that they make to go with the foundation because it fits in the opening perfectly and it gives a airbrushed finish. My color is in the shade fair-light neutral.

2) Primers

image

Face

I used to use the Benefit primer, but switched to tarte’s clean slate poreless 12-hr perfecting primer. First of all my reason for switching was ingredients. This one is more natural. I also really like how it feels on the skin. It makes the skin super soft and helps the foundation talked about above go on flawlessly.

Eyes

I have tried a couple different eye-shadow primers from multiple different brands: Urban Decay, The Balm, Tarte, Lorac, and Nars. I always go back to my trusty Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.  This primer helps my eye-shadows last all day and be more vibrant looking. I really like the consistency of this product and I find it easy to use.

3) Powder
image

I really love using bareMinerals Mineral Veil loose powder with the Tarte powder brush. The finishing powder helps the look come together and it prevents my concealer from creasing. This is a very finely milled powder. Something I like about this powder is that it has SPF of 25. Gotta protect the skin from the sun! I think that I am going to switch to the compact of this same powder instead because of the less mess. I feel like with any powder there is always a little mess. The tarte powder brush is super nice. It is really soft and very sturdy. I haven’t noticed it shedding any at all. It also washes up really nicely too.

4) Blushes
image

image

I have a blush and a blush palette that I wanted to share with you! The first one is the Instain Long Wearing Staining Powder Blush by The Balm in the shade Argyle. I love this blush because it is the perfect soft pink! The Balm blushes are super pigmented, blend-able, and cruelty free. I got this blush at Kohl’s (Kohl’s now carry The Balm 🙂 ) during the summer and have loved it since! This blush is just a super wearable color. My second favorite blush product is the Hourglass Ambient lighting Blush palette. This is something I got towards the end of the year, so I felt like I shouldn’t have included it! But, I love it so much, that I just didn’t feel right to leave it out. All through the year I read reviews or watched YouTube videos on this blush palette. But, what got me was the price tag! One day at MOA, I decided well might as well at least swatch them. They felt absolutely amazing! They’re the softest blushes I have ever felt. This palette comes with 3 different shades: Luminous flush, Incandescent Electra, and Mood Exposure. What makes this blush palette a favorite of mine is the ease of application. I’ve never used a blush that applies so nicely and blends so easily into the cheeks. It also gives the cheeks a nice beautiful glow.

5) Bronzers/Highlighters
image

To tell you the truth, I never really wear either bronzer or highlighter. I find it too complicating and time-consuming to worry about contouring. I did go to a Glo-Minerals makeup presentation sometime during this year and I picked up the Glo-Minerals Shimmer Brick in Luster. I love this! It gives such a natural glow to the skin. Glo-Minerals is a more natural brand as well. I find this way more easier to use and more natural looking than any bronzer.

6) Concealers
image

I’m always on the hunt for the perfect concealer because those dark circles always make an appearance. I have 2 favorite concealers that I have been using this year. The first one is by Tarte and is called the Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer. I love the packaging of this concealer because it is easy to use and easy to travel with. I have the color medium. This concealer has a good amount of coverage and it doesn’t crease. It is very creamy and easy to blend. I usually just use my ring finger or a concealer brush. Sometimes I use my beauty blender. The second concealer is called Concealer Under Eye in natural by Glo-Minerals. This concealer comes with 2 shades. I mostly used the lightest shade of the 2 and I hit pan on it too! I loved the coverage it gave me. Its a creamy concealer that is easy to apply with a concealer brush. I do have to set both concealers with powder.

That concludes Part 1 of The Best of Beauty 2014. I hope that you enjoyed it! Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you thought of them! It feels good to be back to blogging! Hope to hear from you!

My New Blog!!!! The HAPPY PAW Files!!!

the happy paw files logo

Yesterday was an exciting day for The Beauty Deputy, because I started another blog. This blog is called, “The HAPPY PAW Files!” I bet you guessed it?!? It is about my PETS! I have a westie named Maddie, a short hair tabby named Molly, and a shiba inu named Mirya. The reason I decided to start this blog was because I am a huge animal lover. I also get so many questions about the shiba inu breed because it is a very uncommon where I am from. I plan to do an assortment of posts such as: watch me grow, subscription box reviews, homemade treat recipes, treat and toy reviews, and so much more!

CHECK OUT MY NEW BLOG HERE!!!

Hope you all subscribe and show Mirya, Maddie, and Molly some love!

Day 21: What I would buy if I had $500-$1000 to spend on beauty products…

I saw this post idea from Jacquelyn from The Little Scottish Corner and I decided that I would do this post too! She said that she would love for others to do this post as well, so here it goes! This probably isn’t helping my no buy, but I still wanted to share this post with you! If you haven’t checked out her blog make sure to do so. You can check it out here. Maybe someday I would win a shopping spree from Sephora or Ulta. Lol, big dreaming!

1) Alex Drawer Unity with 9 drawers from IKEA $119.00

I hate disorganization! I hate how I have my makeup stored now! This lovely beauty is very popular among the Youtubers and makeup enthusiasts. I would just love to have all my items stored in one space. I would use this for more than just makeup such as: nail polishes, skincare (Lush bath bombs), hair accessories, and much more. I’ve never been to an IKEA before. My brother and sister in law love IKEA and if they decide to go to the cities and ask me to go with, I WILL be picking this up.  Monica Geller from Friends would be so proud of this!

2) Urban Decay Electric Palette $49.99

This palette just has a lot of fun colors! I’ve seen the swatches of the colors and they look amazing! It is definitely not an everyday palette, but it would be a fun one to have. This palette would be perfect for those pop of color looks.

3) Meet Matt(e) Nude by The Balm $42

The Balm is one of my favorite brands. I do have a few The Balm palettes, but I actually don’t have this one. I got this palette during a 50% sale that they were having and I sent this palette to the UK for my box swap! I felt like Stephanie (Effie) really needed to try out this brand.

4) The Balm Powder to the People Brush in Crease, Love, & Happiness $24.50

I love this brush! I used to have this brush, but sadly Mirya got a hold of it! This is a reason why the IKEA drawer would be nice! I love the crease brush because it fits perfectly into my crease.

5) INSTAIN Long Wearing Powder Staining Blush by The Balm $22.00

I got a sample of this blush in a different color  in a Birchbox.  I was very impressed with the pigmentation and longevity. I really like the color that I posted down below called Argyle.

6) Ambient Lighting Palette by Hourglass from Sephora $58.00

I have heard so much about these powders! They have so many great reviews, but the price tag sure is large. It is cool that they came out with this combo palette.

7) Ambient Lighting Blush $35.00

I did see these at Sephora when I was at Mall of America. They felt amazing when I swatched them. I just couldn’t get over the price tag. But, that is Hourglass. I would have to re-swatch all the colors and decide which one I would get, but right now I am loving the look of Ethereal Glow with is a cool pink (shown in the photo below). Apparently these blushes are blended together with the powders described above making for a flawless face.

8) Deconstructed Rose Lip Gloss Library by Bite Beauty $49.00

I really want to try something from Bite Beauty. Apparently this brand is all natural and made with food grade ingredients. They do this because apparently overtime we consume quite a bit of lip products! Coffee Break with Dani on YouTube just did a Bite Beauty haul and all the things she got were gorgeous!

9) Luminous Creme Lipstick by Bite Beauty $24.00

I of course would love to try their lipsticks as well. I’m not sure on what color yet, but most likely neutral or pink. I would have to re-watch that video from Coffee Break with Dani because there was a color that she got that I absolutely loved. The color I posted below is Ballet Pink and I think it looks gorgeous!

10) Glamglow THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment $69.00

These masks are super expensive, but receive a lot awesome reviews! I would get the hydrating treatment because I have dry skin. Although, I probably will never ever buy this because of the price tag, but it is still fun to look.

11) Sigma Beauty The Perfect Blend Kit $63.00

I would love to try this brush kit because I want blending brushes to make for easier application. I really love Sigma brushes so I would love to try this set.

12) Return of Sexy palette by Too Faced $49.99

This palette looks gorgeous! My sister in law just got this palette and she loves it! It has a lot of nice colors included. It also includes a eyeliner and a shadow insurance.

13) Makeup Geek Eyeshadows $5.99 each

I have heard so many amazing things about Makeup Geek shadows. A ton of people said that I need to try these shadows including an old roommate. I really want to try them and see what all the hype is about. They seem to be really affordable with being $5.99 each. There is an amazing range of colors! I am in love with this mermaid color. I posted a few more colors that I thought looked amazing! Photos found here.

 14) Lime Crime Fantasy Palette in Palette D’Antoninette $35.00

I have heard many amazing things about Lime Crime! I especially love the look of this palette. I love the bright pastel colors.

15) i-Divine Palettes by Sleek Makeup $11.99 each

I was really impressed with the Sleek palette that I got in my box swap. I of course lusted over the other palettes after I was so impressed with the Storm palette. Make sure to check out my review on that palette if you haven’t already. Pictures found on their website here. Pretty much all their palettes are amazing, but here are a few of my favorites!

Garden of Eden

i-Candy

Del Mar

Well I decided that I am going to stop at #15. I guess I’m not exactly sure what my total is, but I know that is is close. Obviously, I would never get all of this, but it was sure fun to share all the amazing products out there! Comment and let me know if you have tried any of these products!

LUSH Valentine’s Day Collection Review

If you’ve been following me you know that I did a recent Lush UK Haul and I got a few of the Valentine’s Day items!

IMG_0781

All descriptions are from the UK site because it was an international order. See links below.

ITEM #1 Prince Charming Shower Gel

What Lush says, “With marshmallow root, Fair Trade vanilla and fresh pomegranate juice, Prince Charming will sweep you off your feet and carry you off into the sunset, leaving your skin silky soft and smelling lovely – the fragrance is made using a beautiful blend of grapefruit, sandalwood and geranium oils.” UK site here. US site here

This is definitely a different scent from Lush.  I kind of find a lot of Lush scents to be interesting if that makes sense. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. I do like this scent, it just isn’t my favorite. I more smell the grapefruit and the  pomegranate and don’t really smell that much marshmallow. It is pretty strong in the bottle, but once applied to the skin it has a nice more subtly scent.

Pros

  • Made with fresh ingredients such as: grapefruit oil, sandalwood oil, geranium oil, and almond oil.
  • Little goes a long way so even though it is a tiny bottle it should last for awhile.
  • Nice lather!

Cons

  • Expensive for a tiny bottle
  • Limited Edition
  • Parabens!!!! Not sure why Lush puts parabens in their products! Naughty Lush!!!
  • Has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it!

Overall Thoughts

I liked it, but I don’t feel the need to rush out and buy more even though it is limited edition. I am also annoyed with Lush that they have parabens in their body washes!

IMG_0841 IMG_0842

ITEM #2 The Kiss Lip Balm

What Lush says, A delightful, whipped up gloss made from luxurious and protective butters including Fair Trade shea and cupuaçu. This preservative free tinted lip gloss gives a touch of colour to the lips. It’s so easy to apply you won’t even need a mirror!” UK site here. US site here.

This was probably the item that I most wanted to get out of the Valentine’s Day Collection. I think that the packaging is adorable.   I also wanted to try something from their lip product line that would have some color. I have tried the Honey Trap lip balm and I really like that one.

Pros

  • The scent is sweet so it is perfect for Valentine’s Day!
  • Great texture: light and airy
  • Love the scent
  • Not sticky
  • Nice pink color with a hint of shimmer

Cons

  • Limited Edition
  • Packaging: I wish that it was in a tube or something different than a tub. I don’t like applying the lip product with my fingers or holding up the tin up to my lips.
  • Lasting power quite isn’t there! I wish I could invent a lip gloss or lip balm that lasted all day!

Overall Thoughts

I really like this lip product and I do hope that they bring it back next year. I like the nice feel that it gives my lips. I also really love the scent.

Gives a nice pink color to the lips!

ITEM #3 Close To You Massage Bar

What Lush says, “This smooshable massage bar is beautifully fragranced with Fair Trade vanilla absolute. Inspired by the humble Jammie Dodger biscuit – as you peek through the heart shaped hole on top of bar you can see into the sumptuous white fondant centre.” UK site here. US site here

So one time I was in a Lush store and the girl was very interesting in trying to sell me a massage bar. Well I never wanted one, until I decided that my boyfriend should give me a back massage and if I have this product well then he has too! You can use this product for more than a back massage, but that it my main use for it.

Pros

  • Smells amazing! Reminds me of the scent from the Snow Fairy shower gel from Christmas time
  • Super moisturizing!
  • Fresh ingredients such as: organic shea butter, almond oil, and many more.
  • Melts easily with touching skin temperature
  • Adorable!
  • Now my boyfriend gives me back massages!
  • My back smelled amazing for hours afterwards!

Cons

  • Expensive which is normal for Lush
  • Limited Edition
  • Turns the skin slightly pink

Overall Thoughts

I really do like this massage bar. Love the scent. I wish that it wasn’t limited edition, but honestly the massage bar will last awhile. I’ve used it once and I’ve barely made a dent in it.

IMG_0846

ITEM #4 Neon Love Soap

What Lush says, “This is a unique soap with an uplifting, fruity fragrance. Bergamot and rosewood work together to create a rich scent, whilst fresh figs, passion fruit juice and soya yoghurt nourish and soften the skin. ” UK site here. US site here

So with a Lush haul I of course have to get some soap! So I decided to pick this one up!

Pros

  • Good scent! Smells very fruity. I mostly smell passion fruit.
  • Moisturizing on the skin
  • Has natural ingredients such as: fresh passion fruit, coconut oil, and a few others.
  • Lathers well and makes light pink lather.

Cons

  • My piece didn’t have a heart in it like how they showed it online. 😦
  • Expensive
  • You guessed it! Limited Edition!

Overall Thoughts

I did like this soap, but I’m not going to run out and buy more of it even though it is limited edition. It has a nice scent, but it isn’t my favorite.

IMG_0824

IMG_0826

All in all I am glad that I got my chance to get the Valentine’s Day Collection because it’s going fast! I do think that Lush did a good job with creating this collection. My favorite items were the lip balm and the massage bar. Make sure you check it out while you still can! Comment and let me know if you’ve tried any Lush products and what is your favorite!

Xoxo

Disney Chickz Music Video!!!

Just wanted to share this lovely video with my followers that one of my favorite YouTubers took part in! The one and only lovely Charis Lincoln from Charisma Star TV! She plays Jasmine! She is a very talented young lady and I love watching her YouTube videos! I think they all did an amazing job! If you love Disney and grew up listening to the Spice Girls I recommend watching this!!!
