Day 22: Lush Charity Pot Lotion Review

I have gone through a few tubs of this lotion from Lush. It was actually one of my first Lush items that I ever bought from them. I have now become a big Lush fan and I am very happy that a classmate of mine told me about this amazing company. I love their beliefs and values and how they stand strong against animal testing. This lotion is called, “Charity Pot.” By buying a Charity Pot lotion, Lush actually donates 100% of its proceeds to charity (excluding taxes). That is pretty amazing for a company to do because usually it is 25% or less that goes to charity. There are a few different charities that you can pick from when buying your lotion. I think that this lotion is such a nice cause and that was the biggest reason that I decided to try this lotion over the others.

DSC00645  IMG_1276

According to Lush, “Since 2007, we’ve donated more than $4,750,000 to over 400 GRASSROOTS CHARITIES in 35 countries.” Information found here

I think that is amazing!

What Lush says about its Charity Pot lotion,Inside every black pot of Charity Pot is a whole lot more than a creamy body lotion to hydrate parched, dry skin. Of course, it’s filled with the finest ingredients, including Fair Trade organic cocoa butter, and made by hand with love. Not to mention the gorgeous fresh, ylang ylang floral fragrance. What makes it so special? Every penny (yes, every single penny) that you pay for a pot, excluding the tax, goes to fund and support grassroots charities all around the world. You end up with softer, floral-scented skin AND you’re doing a world of good with every pot purchased.”  Information found here

Want more information?!? Check out this video from Lush!

Kudos to Lush for donating all the proceeds to charity!!!

Lush is known for its natural ingredients that they put into their products. Lush’s tagline is fresh handmade cosmetics, which it even states on their bag. With that being said, I felt like it was very important to check out the ingredients and talk a little bit about them.

IMG_1273

Ingredients as shown on Lush’s website

Water (Aqua) , Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Fair Trade Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao) , Glycerine , Stearic Acid , Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata) , Geranium Oil (Pelargonium crispum) , Tagetes Oil (Tagetes minuta) , Triethanolamine , Cetearyl Alcohol , *Geraniol, *Citronellol , *Limonene , *Linalool , Fragrance ,Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides) ,Methylparaben , Propylparaben

As you can see there is a lot of natural ingredients with the featured ingredient being Ylang Ylang oil on their website. It also has fair trade cocoa butter. But, there is also parabens included. I’m surprised that these are included in this lotion since Lush strives for being all natural. I honestly don’t know that much about parabens, but with more and more things going paraben free I am honestly surprised that Lush hasn’t gone that way yet. Hopefully they will soon!

DSC00648

All Lush products come with this yellow sticker which states when the product was made, who made the product, and the expiration date.

MY THOUGHTS

Packaging

I’m not the biggest fan of lotion in tubs because I like easy access with using a pump. I’ll be honest sometimes I choose my Indigo Wild Almond lotion over this especially if I’m in a hurry because that lotion comes with a pump. Although, Lush states that its packaging is not virgin and made from 100% recycled plastic. I really think that is awesome of Lush, so all in all, I will still buy this over and over pump or no pump.

DSC00646

Sizes & Prices

The price is hefty, but I don’t mind because I love the cause! This lotion comes in 2 different sizes. The small tub is $5.95 for 1.7 oz and the large tub is $22.95 for 7.9 oz. Remember that this lotion is made fresh so yes it will be more expensive than lets say a generic lotion bought at a Target or Wal-Mart.

 Color

The color of this lotion is light yellow.

DSC00651

Scent

The scent isn’t the best in my opinion. It does smell super strong in the tub. Some people I know have been turned away from this lotion because of that. But, honestly it smells differently when applied to the skin. It isn’t as strong and it is nice and soft instead. It is a mixture between floral and cocoa.  It reminds me of freshly cut flowers.

Texture

The texture is semi thick. It isn’t too liquidy and isn’t thick like a body butter. I feel like this lotion has a nice texture and it blends into the skin very easily. The lotion isn’t greasy at all.

Moisture

This is what makes this lotion amazing! I have super dry skin especially during the winter months. My legs become super dry and itchy if I don’t apply lotion. Using this lotion keeps my skin moisturized and feeling so much better. Even if the scent isn’t my favorite, this is the selling point for me. Like I said above, the scent doesn’t linger and once applied to the skin it is nice and soft.

Overall thoughts!

I really like this lotion if you haven’t realized that by now. Even though I’m not the fondest of the scent, I still do love this lotion. When I went to Lush at Mall of America they had the little Charity Pots sitting up at the register. Of course I decided to throw one in with my other purchases! I will continue to buy this lotion, but I really do hope that they make it paraben free!

Comment and let me know what you think of this lotion! What do you think of the scent? Comment down below and let me know! I love hearing from you all!

LUSH Valentine’s Day Collection Review

If you’ve been following me you know that I did a recent Lush UK Haul and I got a few of the Valentine’s Day items!

IMG_0781

All descriptions are from the UK site because it was an international order. See links below.

ITEM #1 Prince Charming Shower Gel

What Lush says, “With marshmallow root, Fair Trade vanilla and fresh pomegranate juice, Prince Charming will sweep you off your feet and carry you off into the sunset, leaving your skin silky soft and smelling lovely – the fragrance is made using a beautiful blend of grapefruit, sandalwood and geranium oils.” UK site here. US site here

This is definitely a different scent from Lush.  I kind of find a lot of Lush scents to be interesting if that makes sense. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. I do like this scent, it just isn’t my favorite. I more smell the grapefruit and the  pomegranate and don’t really smell that much marshmallow. It is pretty strong in the bottle, but once applied to the skin it has a nice more subtly scent.

Pros

  • Made with fresh ingredients such as: grapefruit oil, sandalwood oil, geranium oil, and almond oil.
  • Little goes a long way so even though it is a tiny bottle it should last for awhile.
  • Nice lather!

Cons

  • Expensive for a tiny bottle
  • Limited Edition
  • Parabens!!!! Not sure why Lush puts parabens in their products! Naughty Lush!!!
  • Has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it!

Overall Thoughts

I liked it, but I don’t feel the need to rush out and buy more even though it is limited edition. I am also annoyed with Lush that they have parabens in their body washes!

IMG_0841 IMG_0842

ITEM #2 The Kiss Lip Balm

What Lush says, A delightful, whipped up gloss made from luxurious and protective butters including Fair Trade shea and cupuaçu. This preservative free tinted lip gloss gives a touch of colour to the lips. It’s so easy to apply you won’t even need a mirror!” UK site here. US site here.

This was probably the item that I most wanted to get out of the Valentine’s Day Collection. I think that the packaging is adorable.   I also wanted to try something from their lip product line that would have some color. I have tried the Honey Trap lip balm and I really like that one.

Pros

  • The scent is sweet so it is perfect for Valentine’s Day!
  • Great texture: light and airy
  • Love the scent
  • Not sticky
  • Nice pink color with a hint of shimmer

Cons

  • Limited Edition
  • Packaging: I wish that it was in a tube or something different than a tub. I don’t like applying the lip product with my fingers or holding up the tin up to my lips.
  • Lasting power quite isn’t there! I wish I could invent a lip gloss or lip balm that lasted all day!

Overall Thoughts

I really like this lip product and I do hope that they bring it back next year. I like the nice feel that it gives my lips. I also really love the scent.

IMG_0847

IMG_0848

IMG_0850

IMG_0893

Gives a nice pink color to the lips!

ITEM #3 Close To You Massage Bar

What Lush says, “This smooshable massage bar is beautifully fragranced with Fair Trade vanilla absolute. Inspired by the humble Jammie Dodger biscuit – as you peek through the heart shaped hole on top of bar you can see into the sumptuous white fondant centre.” UK site here. US site here

So one time I was in a Lush store and the girl was very interesting in trying to sell me a massage bar. Well I never wanted one, until I decided that my boyfriend should give me a back massage and if I have this product well then he has too! You can use this product for more than a back massage, but that it my main use for it.

Pros

  • Smells amazing! Reminds me of the scent from the Snow Fairy shower gel from Christmas time
  • Super moisturizing!
  • Fresh ingredients such as: organic shea butter, almond oil, and many more.
  • Melts easily with touching skin temperature
  • Adorable!
  • Now my boyfriend gives me back massages!
  • My back smelled amazing for hours afterwards!

Cons

  • Expensive which is normal for Lush
  • Limited Edition
  • Turns the skin slightly pink

Overall Thoughts

I really do like this massage bar. Love the scent. I wish that it wasn’t limited edition, but honestly the massage bar will last awhile. I’ve used it once and I’ve barely made a dent in it.

IMG_0843

IMG_0846

ITEM #4 Neon Love Soap

What Lush says, “This is a unique soap with an uplifting, fruity fragrance. Bergamot and rosewood work together to create a rich scent, whilst fresh figs, passion fruit juice and soya yoghurt nourish and soften the skin. ” UK site here. US site here

So with a Lush haul I of course have to get some soap! So I decided to pick this one up!

Pros

  • Good scent! Smells very fruity. I mostly smell passion fruit.
  • Moisturizing on the skin
  • Has natural ingredients such as: fresh passion fruit, coconut oil, and a few others.
  • Lathers well and makes light pink lather.

Cons

  • My piece didn’t have a heart in it like how they showed it online. 😦
  • Expensive
  • You guessed it! Limited Edition!

Overall Thoughts

I did like this soap, but I’m not going to run out and buy more of it even though it is limited edition. It has a nice scent, but it isn’t my favorite.

IMG_0824

IMG_0826

All in all I am glad that I got my chance to get the Valentine’s Day Collection because it’s going fast! I do think that Lush did a good job with creating this collection. My favorite items were the lip balm and the massage bar. Make sure you check it out while you still can! Comment and let me know if you’ve tried any Lush products and what is your favorite!

Huge LUSH UK Haul

If you’re a huge Lush lover like I am and live in the United States, you may know that Lush products aren’t cheap! I heard about people from the United States ordering from the UK site because it was cheaper. Well I decided to check it out! I figured that it probably wouldn’t be that much cheaper because then I would have to pay for international shipping. Well it doesn’t hurt to check it out…right?!? Another reason I decided to order from Lush UK was because the US site was out of Let the Good Times Roll which is almost a crime in my mind. I even tweeted them with my sadness. Then I started wondering about ordering from the UK site again and that is just what I did. I decided well if I’m going to order I might as well make it a good sized order.  I also knew that I wanted to get a lot of products so it was a good timing.

Steps on ordering from Lush UK

  1. Check to make sure your bank/credit card allows international purchases
  2. Go to their UK website here
  3. Set up an account
  4. Add products to cart that your heart desires
  5. Add the same items to the Lush USA site here
  6. Compare the prices by using a currency converter using Google. I typed in British pounds to US dollars into Google and it brought it right up. (fyi: currency exchange rates change everyday)
  7. Decide which is better pricing and if it is worth it
  8. Click check out
  9. Enter address (Change country to United States. There was no place for State so I put my City and State under City)
  10. Enter Zip Code
  11. Add a message for samples! (I added that I would like samples of shampoo and conditioner for oily hair and that I wanted to try the Karma Kreme)
  12. Review and Submit
  13. Wait until a wonderful Lush package arrives at your door step.

So how did ordering go for me?

It was super easy! I ordered on a Friday and I got my package the following Wednesday! That is crazy fast for international shipping!!! My package also had tracking so that was nice. I was really surprised when it came so fast!

The Packaging!

IMG_0759

See I told you it was a huge Lush haul!

IMG_0761

Yay packed by Dale!

IMG_0787

The samples!!! The I love Juicy shampoo spilled a little out of the sides, but nothing too serious!

So was it worth it?

After this post you may be commenting, “you need LA or Lush Anonymous,” but like I said if I’m paying international shipping I might as well make it worthwhile. I do think that it was worth it because even with international shipping (which was a lot), it was about 3o dollars cheaper! In not speaking of shipping it was $67.03 cheaper! That is astronomical!  I think that is crazy! For example the Dream Cream in the US is $26.95 for 8.4 oz!!! Since I got it from Lush UK it was £9.38! That comes out to be $15.31 for the same size!! So yes it was worth it!!! So I won’t be buying anything from Lush for awhile because well I’m all stocked up! Until next time I run out of Let the Good Times Roll! 😛

With that I hope you enjoyed this post!!! Comment and let me know if you have tried any of these products! I will be having a lot of happy baths in my future!

Lush Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar Review

I never really heard about shampoo bars until I went into a Lush store. I thought it was a neat idea, but wondered how could that work the same as liquid shampoo. Yet I knew I had to test it out!  I decided on the Jumping Juniper shampoo bar. Lush has quite a few different shampoo bar options such as: hair growth, oily hair, dry hair, tangled and unruly locks, and many more. Well I am a person that washes their hair everyday. I know I know it’s bad on my hair, but my hair does get oily if I don’t do that. I decided on the Lumping Juniper one because it’s formulated for oily hair and it did smell the best. I also got a little tin case for storage.

What does Lush say about this shampoo bar?

Herbal hair magic to transform oily hair

Our purple shampoo bar jumps into action to sort out oil problems on top. It cleans away grease and balances sebum production for soft, shiny (in the good way) hair. Fruity juniperberry oil sorts out your oily, congested scalp, while lemon and lime make your hair clean and shiny and give it an extra fresh scent. The incredible herbal duo, lavender and rosemary are superpowers if you’re having troubles in the oil department. Rosemary has been used for hundreds of years for its anti-bacterial capabilities while lavender is known for its ability to balance and soothe the scalp. You’ll be jumping for joy in no time!

http://www.lushusa.com/Jumping-Juniper/00554,en_US,pd.html#start=4

Some features that Lush describes

  • Puts the jump into it: Citrus oils of lemon and lime add shine and bounce to your style.
  • Herbal wonders: Lavender and rosemary work to soothe scalps and balance oil production to improve the condition of your hair.
  • Very berry: Juniperberry oil is astringent and decongests oil build-up on hair.

The Ingredients

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate , Lavender Decoction (Lavendula hybrida) , Rosemary Decoction (Rosmarinus officinalis), Juniperberry Oil (Juniperus communis) , Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) , Lime Oil (Citrus aurantifolia) , *Citral, *Limonene , Perfume , D&C
Violet No. 2

The Pictures

DSC00644

DSC00643

DSC00642

What I thought of the shampoo bar?

Pros

  • smells like lavender and lemon which I think smells good
  • Doesn’t have an overpowering smell
  • Perfect for travel
  • Lathers really well (can be a pro and a con)
  • Super easy to use
  • Makes my hair feel really clean
  • It is good for my greasy hair (My hair still looks good the next morning, but at middle to end of the day it’s getting oily.)
  • Has mostly natural ingredients
  • Lasts a long time (The employee at Lush told me it lasts about 80 washes. I have not been counting, but I do have a lot left.)
  • Product is Vegan and cruelty free

Cons

  • Dries out hair if used too often or everyday (due to the con down below)
  • Has sodium lauryl sulfate in it which is a surfactant (allows water and oil to become mixed). This is a big con for me. SLS causes the lather, but it is also very drying to the hair and the scalp. When products say they’re sulfate free it means that the product was formulated without SLS.
  • Hard to get the shampoo bar out of the container (make sure to open the container before getting your hands wet otherwise it is impossible to open and also the container has just enough room to house the shampoo bar so there is no wiggle
room making it hard to get the shampoo bar out because it likes to stick to the bottom)
  • Price: $10.95 which is kind of expensive for a shampoo bar, but it is Lush

All in all I did like this shampoo bar, but I am still disappointed that they used sulfates in their products. I am still a big Lush fan and will always love Lush products. Lush does have a lot of really good ingredients that they use in their products. But, hopefully one day they will go sulfate free! Let me know if you have tried any shampoo bars from Lush or any other brand.

Also check out my new menu that I created on my blog and let me know what you think!

Mini Lush Haul!!!

Back in October when I went to Mall of America, (it is 2.5 hours away from where I live and the nearest Lush) I got these products from Lush. I just finally got around to posting them!

So here is what I got….

Snow Fairy Shower Gel

Oh how we’ve missed lathering up in those fluffy pink bubbles! We crave her bubblegum and sweet vanilla fragrance all year, and just can’t imagine the holidays without her. Or famous fairy contains a smattering of biodegradable shimmering luster (or as we like to call it, Fairy Dust), so she won’t harm the earth one little bit! Sparkly, pink and candy scented – what more could we ask for?! (From Lush website: http://www.lushusa.com/Snow-Fairy/9999902427,en_US,pd.html?start=5)

This shower gel smells amazing! It smells almost exactly like the bubblegum lip scrub so if you like that you will like this shower gel. I splurged and got the big bottle because I really like the scent. I have used this shower gel a few times and it does smell pretty strong in the bottle but gives the skin a nice subtly scent afterwards. It is also moisturizing and lathers really well meaning the bottle will last me a long time.

DSC00954

I think that the packaging is very fitting for the type of shower gel that it is.

DSC00956

Made fresh!

The Christmas Penguin

Isn’t he adorable? Inspired by the smallest penguins in the world (found on Philip Island, Australia), we’ve invented our very own tiny penguin for bubbly bathtime fun. Crumble yours under running water to create bubbly orange flower and bergamot glaciers – lovers of our Olive Branch shower gel will recognize Christmas Penguin’s fresh, cheery fragrance. Popping in the tub with this penguin is perfect way to relax after a long stressful day! (From Lush website: http://www.lushusa.com/The-Christmas-Penguin/03899,en_US,pd.html#q=penguin&start=3)

Yes, I did get this bubble bar because it was a penguin. He is just so adorable! I have not used this bubble bar yet because he is just too cute to use! I really do like the scent. I have tried the Olive Branch shower gel and I did like that scent too. It is just a very nice clean and neat scent. I read that it makes quite a bit of luscious bubbles.

DSC00963 DSC00962

Angel’s Delight Soap

When you’re need of some holiday cheer, ask the angels to help raise your spirits. Our best-selling Angel’s Delight soap returns with the same merry tangerine and orange scent we all love. Inspired by the popular English custard of the same name, our uplifting sudser is just as sweet and fruity as the beloved dessert. If you’re lucky enough to encounter a whole round of Angel’s Delight in store, you’re sure to be mesmerized by its beautiful gold moon “frame”. LUSH co-founders Mark and Mo Constantine happened upon a similar gilded frame in an antique shop while on an inspiration trip to Venice, but we think they may have surpassed the original design with this beautiful soap! (From Lush website: http://www.lushusa.com/Angel%27s-Delight/00833,en_US,pd.html#start=7)

I was really intrigued by the look of this soap in it’s full form and I decided I had to check it out.

download (1)

Isn’t that the coolest design of soap EVER!?! Of course there was a ton of it missing by the time I saw it at Lush, but I still did get a good idea.

This is what my piece looked like! I did actually use up this soap already. I loved it! I will most likely buy it again next time I go to a Lush store. The scent reminds me of fruit punch. It isn’t an overpowering scent, I feel like it has the right amount of strength. This bar soap did moisturize my skin and did lather really well. I just wish that it could lather like that without them using Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. But, I still love Lush!

DSC00951 DSC00953

Anyway that ends my mini haul! Let me know if you have tried these products and let me know what you think of them! Also let me know if you want a full review on any of the products. I love reading your comments! 🙂

LUSH: Creatures of the Baaaaaath!!!!

Since Halloween is almost here I thought that I should hurry up and get this post out.

Lush of course came out with some items for Halloween which are called “Creatures of the Baaaaaath.” There are two items and I decided to get both. They’re called Lord of Misrule and Pumkin. Lord of Misrule is a bath bomb which a popular Lush product that you drop into your bath that fizzles and makes your bath water smell amazing and is also good for your skin! A bubble bar is another popular Lush product that you crumble under the water stream as your bath fills to create bubbles.

http://www.lushusa.com/Creatures-of-the-Baaaaaath%21/halloween,en_US,pg.html

Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb

Price: $5.95 each

What Lush says about Lord of Misrule: Lord of Misrule brings mischievous revelry to the tub with a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. As it slowly froths in the water, hypnotic swirling silver luster is released and the deep green exterior soon gives way to a rich, wine-colored center.

DSC00855 DSC00856

So I filled up my bathtub and it started fizzing a greenish silver color as it was filling the tub with an amazing aroma. Lush describes the scent as a herbal blend of of patchouli and black pepper oil. It does smell incredible. You can smell the patchouli but I felt like there was a hint of cranberries too. I’m horrible at describing scents but believe me it did smell good. The effects of this bath bomb was amazing. This one fizzes super slow, then cracks open, then this gorgeous rich wine color comes pouring out which makes it a good Halloween themed bath bomb.  Also there was crackling once the bath bomb was pretty much done dissolving which was a nice little surprise.

IMG_0049[1]

This is what my tub ended up looking like towards the end of the bath bomb dissolving but then turned into completely the dark red wine color.

I did take a video if you want to watch it. I know it is lengthy but that is because Lord of Misrule was a large bath bomb and fizzles pretty slow.

Pros

  • Amazing scent
  • Moisturizing
  • Scent does linger on skin for awhile but isn’t overpowering
  • Doesn’t clog or stain the tub

Cons

  • Price: $5.95 is kind of expensive for one bath. But, you can cut it into pieces if you want to get more use out of it.

FYI: If you’re extremely sensitive to scents and aren’t a fan of herbal scents then you probably won’t like this. The scent does linger for awhile which I think is a pro, but not everybody would.

Lord of Misrule is not part of their permanent collection. Hopefully they will bring it back next year because I quite enjoyed it!

Pumkin Bubble Bar

Price: $5.95 each

What Lush says about Pumkin: Crumble this mischievous little character into the tub to lavish yourself in mounds of cozy bubbles and soft, beautiful orange waters on a cool autumn night. Pumkin shares its earthy, floral fragrance with our year-round Figs and Leaves soap!

DSC00853 DSC00854

Pros:

  • Smells amazing
  • Super adorable!
  • Bubbles galore!  (I have not used this yet as stated above but I have tried other bubble bars before)

Cons:

  • Price: expensive, but I don’t mind paying that because I love what Lush stands for!
  • Fragile: Hard not to find one with the leaf broken off. But, oh well the leaf sits right in place and I’m sure you can’t even tell that it is broken off!

Overall, i love this time of year and I love seeing new collections come out. I did enjoy the Halloween selection, although I wish that the USA got all the Halloween products. Oh well! I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you have followed my posts before you can probably tell that I love Lush! Let me know what you think and if you have tried any Lush Products!

LUSH Product Review: Let the Good Times Roll

One of the last times that I went to Lush one of the workers threw in a sample of the facial cleanser, “Let the Good Times Roll.” I am glad that she did because this facial cleanser smells amazing!!!

I ended up getting the full sized product which was $12.95 for 3.5 oz.  Otherwise you can get 8.8 oz for $28.95. Yes, that is expensive but Lush is a company that I don’t mind splurging on because their products are made fresh with good ingredients and not loaded with a bunch of ingredients that you can’t even pronounce.  Also, they are fighting against animal testing and their containers are all made from recycled plastic!

This was what the packaging states regarding this product. You might be able to see in the photos below.

“Our seasonal, popcorn-inspired facial cleanser. Smoothing, soothing and ever so slighting warming on the skin.”

“Massage our polenta and cinnamon scrub into skin for a smooth, polished look.”

DSC00847

Also with a lot of Lush’s products if you save the containers you can bring them back for a fresh mask for free. All you have to do is look for the logo on the bottom. Hooray for saving the environment!

DSC00848

The little V in the front means Vegan which it also states in the back.

DSC00849

How to use and a top tip. I have not tried their Popcorn lip scrub, but it sounds interesting!

DSC00850

Here are the list of ingredients. You can go to Lush’s website and look at information on all the ingredients listed.

DSC00851

Since products are made with fresh ingredients and minimal preservatives some products expire faster than others so each product comes with this sticker that states who made, when it was made, and expiration.

DSC00852

This is what the product looks like inside the container. Looks like there is a lot of empty space, but you do still get a lot! Remember it doesn’t last forever!

So with this cleanser you’re supposed to pinch off a pea-sized piece (I guess I have a little more), add a little water, and mix into paste.

This is what is looks like added with a little bit of water. Now you’re ready to scrub, scrub, scrub!!!

Did I like this product?

Yes, I loved it! I love the smell! It doesn’t exactly remind me of popcorn, unless I suppose you add cinnamon to your popcorn. It reminds me of some sort of cinnamon cookie dough,

How often do I use it?

I use it about every other day. It is a scrub so it really exfoliates and gets the face clean.  It may be too much to use everyday.

Would I buy it again?

Yes I would! This product apparently was a seasonal item before and now its back full time due to popular demand.

Have I tried other facial cleansers from Lush?

Yes, I have tried, “Angels on Bare Skin.” I did like that facial cleanser too. It does have the same concept with adding water to turn it into a paste. But, I probably would not buy this one again because I love Let the Good Times Roll much more!

Where can I purchase it from if I don’t have a Lush nearby?

So overall here are my pros and cons

Pros

  • Amazing smell
  • Gives your face that clean feel
  • Has exfoliating properties
  • Vegan
  • Made fresh
  • Doesn’t cause my face to get all red or have a breakout

Cons

  • Price
  • Container wasn’t full (but I suppose it probably does have 3.5 oz in it, but still the website shows theirs full)
  • Sticker rubs off (if you wash your face in the shower then make sure its far away from the shower stream because the stickers break down and then there is a bunch of black spots all over the shower)

Anyway let me know if you have tried this facial cleanser or any of their other cleansers!

Xoxo,

Brittany
